The duo, inspired by the dystopian linguistics of "A Clockwork Orange," crafted a mechanical language of their own, weaving together post-punk grit and electronic body music precision. Their sound is a labyrinth of experimental soundscapes, where synth-driven compositions coexist with dark, atmospheric textures and spoken word elements. Throughout their evolution, Clock DVA has been a pivotal force, releasing on labels like Industrial Records and Wax Trax! Records. Their work, such as "Buried Dreams" (1990) and "4 Hours / Thirst" (1985), echoes the clang of machinery and the hum of electric circuits, a testament to the industrial ethos. The "Horology" series, a meticulous collection of past and present explorations released on VINYL ON DEMAND, marks the group’s dedication to the mechanical cadence of their origins.
