JFK is an industrial and experimental music project that emerged during the mid-1980s underground noise scene. Active primarily between 1987 and 1988, the project released material across multiple formats including cassettes and vinyl, establishing themselves within the harsh noise and industrial music communities of that era. Their discography includes the cassette releases Lie (1987) and Inna Inner Amen (1987), followed by Woelf (1988) on the influential Broken Flag label, a key imprint for experimental and industrial music. The project also released Weapon Design as an LP format, further documenting their sonic explorations. JFK's work characterized the darker, more abrasive end of the industrial underground, contributing to the late 1980s explosion of noise and power electronics experimentation. The project's association with labels like Sound of Pig Music and Broken Flag situates them within networks of avant-garde and underground music distribution that were crucial to the development of industrial and experimental music culture during this period.
