Exquisite Corpse emerged from the Netherlands' fertile ground of the early '90s, a moment where tribal techno pulsed with exploratory vigor. The tandem of Robbert Heynen and Debbie Jones infused their work with immersive soundscapes and rhythmic complexity, sculpting a liminal space where cultural fusion met experimental layering. Their 1992 LP, Dream Night Dance Music, spins hypnotic beats into a dense fabric, akin to contemporaries like Psychick Warriors Ov Gaia. In 1994, Kupuri / Chalice on KK Records extended this inquiry, a fractal expansion on cassette that invites deep listening. Each release stands as a process-driven artifact, an interdisciplinary dance of sound.
