" - front cover of booklet Recorded in Texas, 1959. Copyright, 1960, by Mack McCormick. No performers are credited on the release. Includes a 8 1/4" x 10 3/4", 14-page booklet explaining the history of the songs, as well as a lengthy disclaimer presenting the recorded material as a scholarly document which was evidently a measure taken against possible charges of obscenity. Some of the performers have been ostensibly identified by researchers: tracks B4 and B10 are attributed to [a367073], tracks B5 and B11 to [url=http://www.discogs.com/artist/Edwin+Goodwin+Pickens]Buster Pickens[/url], and track B12 to [a290582].
