Contemporary Jazz From Holland - Litany For The 14th Of June, 1966
Recorded at Musis Sacrum, Baarn, Holland, 26 and 27 October 1966 from 1800-023- hrs. (A side) and 27 October 1966 from 1630-2400 hrs. (B side). Stereo-balance Chanel I voice, tumpet, trombone II, horn II, base clarinet/soprano sax, alto sax/bass clarinet, clarinet, cello, drums I Channel II oboe, bassoon, trombone I, horn I, tenor sax, piano, bass I, bass III, drums II The instruments played by Pierre Courbois were: inflatable small tom-tom, large tom-tom with tuning pedal, bass drum, snare drum, three large cymbals and one small one, hi-hat, four chinese temple blocks, Brazilian cow-bell, marimbaphone from the Orff Instrument collection, small and large gong, Pakistani rustling instruments, small bells. N.B. The performers, Side 1, b. are: voice, oboe, 2 trombones, soprano sax, tenor sax, bass clarinet (Breuker), 3 basses and drums (Pierre Courbois).
