A1 is actually "I Saw Her Standing There" (written by Lennon And McCartney). Credits E1 to F6 are not mentioned on Cover/Label "Realization: Jacobsen Waren Kontor GmbH - Rahlau 4-6 - 2000 Hamburg 70" Manufactured in W-Germany Records 1 and 2 are Live recordings from the Star Club in Hamburg, Germany. Recorded over a few gigs in late December 1962. These are not EMI or Apple recordings, even though The Beatles were signed to EMI by Autumn 1962. They are single mic into a portable tape recorder unofficial recordings, giving a very low quality. No major label would touch these tapes for copyright reasons. Thus they eventually started to appear on independent labels from 1977 onwards until the 90s. The song list is the standard Merseybeat take on mostly American rock 'n Roll. Interesting for historical context rather than listening pleasure. Record 3 has also been released by itself as "Silver Beatles". Mostly simple studio recordings giving better audio quality than the first two records. Most of these tracks come from the Decca Audition tapes of January 1962. Therefore they are before Ringo Starr joined the line-up.
