Comes in gatefold sleeve. Some copies come with pale orange factory (ABC Dunhill) inner sleeve. Recorded at El Saturn Studio, Chicago, Illinois, May 7, 1972. Mixed at Westlake Audio, Los Angeles, California. ℗1973, ABC Records, Inc. / ABC Records, Inc. © 1973 Sleeve features seven poems taken from the book titled "The Immeasurable Equation" by Sun Ra. Unlike other Sun Ra releases on Impulse the promotional copies of "Astro Black" don`t have different (white) labels. Stereo/Quad compatible recording. Variant 5 runouts are etched except the trailing "A" on each side is stamped.
