Side AA recorded direct to 2 track, October 1983. Side A from the LP Confusion Is Sex, February 1983, Shaking Hell 2 recorded live at the Plugg Club, NYC, October 15, 1983. The whole thing recorded at Wharton's Studio, NYC. Thanx: Amanda Linn The front cover has the 'Kill Yr Idols' title superimposed over the original 'Confusion Is Sex' title ([url=https://www.discogs.com/Sonic-Youth-Kill-Yr-Idols/release/6808687]later[/url] [url=https://www.discogs.com/Sonic-Youth-Kill-Yr-Idols/release/2468994]pressings[/url] do not). Some copies misprinted with Side A & AA labels on opposite sides. "Teldec" appears in the center labels on both the first and second pressings. The matrix is also the same. The only distinguishing factor is whether "Kill Your Idols" is written over "Confusion Is Sex".
