"Facelift" was recorded live at Fairfield Hall Croydon January 4th 1970 and at Mothers Club, Birmingham January 11th 1970. ℗ 1970 Made in England 1st UK edition, showing on 3 labels temporary 'Cop.Con.' credits for 3 tracks (sides B to D), later replaced and fixed with correct 'A.Schroeder Music Pub, Co.Ltd.' credits on following production run. Gatefold cover printed and made by the E.J. Day Group (subsequent editions are found in E.J. Day Group, MacNeill Press Ltd., and Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. sleeves) Track B.b is only mentioned inside the gatefold, neither on the tracklisting on the back cover nor on the label. 'O.40' is stated next to the composer credit. Original issues included a promotional CBS insert with a review of the band's work by Melody Maker's Richard Williams.
