This first issue UK variant has the following distinguishing characteristics: Gatefold sleeve with Garrod & Lofthouse credit on back cover; Aston Clinton 'A', 'Λ' , "<" or '>', or broken 'B' letters in runouts, and characteristic Aston Clinton pressing rings; Correct black dot before 'Girl Afraid' on rear sleeve, as opposed to the misprinted [r=5474686]; Front sleeve sticker has 'Rough 76' at top, '1983+84' before 'John Peel' and the R.R.P. of £3.99; Inner sleeve has songs in an order different from the tracklisting, with most of the A-side songs on the flipback side. Copies may exist with or without hype sticker. A2, A4, A6, A8, B2, B6 and B7 from the [l134459] John Peel Show. A3, B3 and B4 from the BBC Radio 1 David Jensen Show.
