The Dark Side Of The Moon

Pink Floyd · 1979 · Vinyl-LP · DE · 1C 064-05 249

CBS Haarlem repressing. Variations in the white vinyl coloration of this release are known to exist (tending from pure white, to slightly or substantially brownish). Apparently, brownish tinted discs are scarcer than snowy-white discs. Recorded at Abbey Road Studios, London between June 1972 and January 1973 Label shows playing time of A1 together with A2 Gatefold cover with two A2-sized posters & two small graphic inserts (all four with the same cat# than the release). Limited Edition: LP is pressed on white vinyl, and there's a label on front sleeve "Farbige Pressung Limitierte Sonderauflage" (meaning "colored pressing limited special edition"). At the runouts the HN credit is written that way, that it looks like one sign. The N use the vertical of the H > [a2590524] A side runout is stamped, except for the HN, which is etched. B side runout is entirely etched. Note on credits: Though not detailed in the liner notes, Barry St. John, Doris Troy, Lesley Duncan, and Liza Strike perform backing vocals only on tracks A4, B2, B4, and B5.
