Création à Paris au Théâtre Hébertot le 11 octobre 1963 [Created in Paris at the Théâtre Hébertot on 11 October 1963]. Made in France. Reissue pressed by CIDIS Louviers c.1975-76 considering 'mixed' pressing rings ('old' outer embossed ring + 'new' 20mm in diameter ring). There are several differences between this reissue and the original Unidisc edition [r938121], notably in track sequences, titles, and music: Track A2, "La Première Reine," appears as "Prélude" on the Unidisc edition. Track A3, "Les Premiers Insectes," appears as "Les Insectes I" on the Unidisc edition. Track A4, "La Deuxième Reine," appears as "Éblouissement De La Reine" on the Unidisc edition. Track A5, "Les Deuxièmes insectes," appears as "Les Insectes II" on the Unidisc edition. Track A7, "Les Servantes," combines parts I and II of "Les Servantes Et La Mort" from the Unidisc edition. Track A8, "La Prison," combines parts I and II of "La Prison" from the Unidisc edition. Track B3, "Le Premier Funambule," combines parts I and II of "Funambule" from the Unidisc edition. Track B4, "Les Troisiemes Insectes," appears as "Les Insectes III" on the Unidisc edition. Track B5, "Le Deuxieme Funambule," appears as "Funambule III" on the Unidisc edition. Track B7, "La Vieillesse," combines "La Vieillesse" and "Danse De L'Homme Et De La Mort" from the Unidisc edition. Track B8, "La Mort," appears as "Voyage À La Mer" on the Unidisc edition. It does not replicate the music from the track titled "La Mort" on the earlier edition. The total length of this edition is 43:27; the Unidisc edition totals 45:25.
