N.K.V.D. Compilation

Konstruktivists · 1989 · Tape · US · aT 77

Printed inside the fold-out J-card: ”Unreleased music from 1981-1982 by N.K.V.D, Konstruktivits and V.D.O.” This statement is only true in part. Ten out of the twenty tracks had actually appeared on releases prior to this compilation. Tracks A4-A6 originally appeared on GM Wallis self-titled tape (Flowmotion, 1980) as well as Konstruktivits Volume I (Flowmotion, fmc01, 1982): A4, ”Vagina Dentata Organ” went by the same title on the Flowmotion-releases. A5, ”Piece 1”, initially titled ”Some Demo”. A6, ”Romance 23”, initially titled ”Demo” and appeared as B6 on the Flowmotion-releases (B7 on the Flowmotion-releases was also titled ”Demo”). Track A7, ”My Tears”, originally appeared as ”Tears” on the compilation Could You Walk On The Waters (Third Mind Records, TMLP 09, 1985). This is a different track than ”My Tears” on Last Moments Of 1923 (Flowmotion, FMC 003, 1982). Tracks B5-B10 originally appeared under different titles on Last Moments Of 1923 (Flowmotion, FMC 003, 1982): B5, ”Echoes And Mirabilist”, initially titled ”Sexes In Solitude”. B6, ”The White Winds”, initially titled ”You Are, We Hate”. B7, ”Chorale Of Last Moments”, initially divided into two tracks, titled ”Intro” respectively ”Last Moments”. B8, ”Lard Free Chorale”, initially titled ”Vital Response”. B9, ”Orange Hymn”, initially titled ”Ma=strom”. B10, ”Theme From Clockwork Orange”, initially titled ”Smack”.
