First Meditations (For Quartet)
Recorded at Van Gelder Studios, Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey on September 2, 1965. Some copies may have a gold stamp on cover "MCA/Impulse 29030". These are transitional copies using up existing covers/labels as the label moved this catalog title to a budget priced MCA reissue (although it doesn't appear they ever printed up new covers or labels with the new 29030 catalog number). A very similar variant pressed by Columbia Terre Haute and plated at Columbia Santa Maria is here: [r36733927].
