Printed in Norway for distribution abroad. A1 is misspelled on label as "Rop: Paa Fjellet", but spelled correctly on the sleeve. The title translates as "Cries Upon The Mountains". The recording is a mix of two performances given in New York at the loft Of Charlemagne Palestine on January 19 and 20 1977. This recording was made from live, real-time performances; it is not a highly edited studio mix. There are a few ambient sounds, pops and crackles, which one might hear during such a live performance of the work. This is due to the inherent unpredictability of the electronics themselves.
