Track A: In this performance, parts 3 and 4 are intentionally not played with the Saitensack-technique. Track B: At the beginning , Essel plays the violin with very high pressure suppressing tones. Thereafter, very loud and very quiet passages alternate. After 17 minutes, Essel switches on the fly from violin to viola. Live photos taken at Festival Experimentelle Musik 2012, Munich.
