The Little Record That Wished It Could

Flies Among The Maggots · 1995 · Vinyl-7"-2 · US · SFTRI 45

An Audio/Visual Fairey Tale Presented by: Flies Among the Maggots (Savage Pencil and Long Gone John) This is a unique non-audio double picture disc set housed in a deluxe, over-sized, stud-bound textured book-like sleeve, inside which are 2 inner thick PVC record bags and printed inner pages. The set is made to look like an old fashioned childs school book (with space for the buyer to enter their name). The records themselves contain no music or sound at all - just blank grooves. Instead the incredible black & white cartoon images on the records portray the story of an innocent and naive artist becoming a "rock star" and falling into degeneracy. The story - drawn by Savage Pencil - was written by SFTRI label owner Long Gone John.
