David Live
Revised sleeve with just the MainMan logo on the rear sleeve. The earlier sleeve has "a MAINMAN artiste' instead, see: [r9065797] & [r26099011] - this was in error as US original artwork only contained the logo, and the words were quickly removed - though the second word is still discernible on this issue. Issued on 'neon' design RCA Victor smooth orange labels; initial copies stating dates 14th & 15th July inside fully laminated gatefold sleeve printed by Howards Printers (Slough) Ltd) and with matte paper printed inner sleeves with MainMan logo and individual cat#s APL2-0771-1 and APL2-0771-2. Price Codes GG and FF ('until Jan 1st 1975'). In the UK and US these dates were changed to 12th & 13th July on RCA reissues. Later reissues on Ryko and EMI provided different dates again. This Live album was culled from performances [..] at the Tower Theatre, Philadelphia. It is complete and exact. No studio overdubs or re-recording of voices, instruments or audience have been added with the exception of several backing vocals due to loss of theatre mike contact. Mixed at Electric Lady Studios, New York.
