Recorded at the Bear Cave, San Francisco, January to June, 1990. Mastered at Mills College Center For Contemporary Music. Sound source is Chaquito, a young Salvadoran boy, burying his father and additional on part two 20 seconds of a guitar play by Fred Frith. Salvadoran recording by the Film Institute of Revolutionary El Salvador. Digital sampling keyboard: Ensoniq EPS. Sequencing software: Dr.T's Beyond. Sooner Or Later began as a collaboration with film animator Pierre Hebért. A portion of the royalties from this recording will be donated to the SHARE Foundation to support childcare centers in rural El Salvador.
