Cat# ANANDA N° 4 (back cover and spine) Cat# ananda no: 4 (labels) Cat# and- 4 (labels) Recorded April 1975 / RCA Italiana Studios, Rome. Printed in Italy - Campi Grafica, Foligno 8/78. Fiori Chiari, Fiori Oscuri (Light Flowers, Dark Flowers) was a solo performance work begun in 1974. Notes/Side A: a cat ("Kama") purring, toy piani, piano, Mio Hani (a five year old Japanese girl) counting in Italian; the tropical bird house of the London Zoo; children in a London schoolyard. Notes/Side B: Monologue in Italian and English, by Alexis Rzewski who tells about making a space ship together with his friend Johnny out of old junk found on Alexis' terrace; of going to the moon, of seeing a gigantic spider there, of falling into a crater and being rescued by his friend, of seeing and entering a house only to find out it was his house. Then he tells of his birthday party, of the chocolate cake his mother made, the toys he got etc… A few years later and in English he tell his version of the Trojan Wars; then of a picnic and our walking along and my recording him.
