The first 500 numbered copies were pressed on colored vinyl, while the rest of the edition (#'s 501-1750) were pressed on black vinyl. There also exist between 100-150 additional unnumbered copies stamped for promotional use only. "No." is stamped on each inner record sleeve and on the back of the fold-out cover. <br /> <br /> These recordings are among the first made by The Abecedarians, all dating from 1983-1985 and preceding the release of their debut 12" on Factory Records in 1985. <br /> "While some of the songs were later re-recorded for their Caroline Records releases of 1986-1987, we felt that the energy and the passion in these versions more accurately captures the soul of the band." (sleeve note) <br /> <br /> All tracks recorded in Orange County, California, between 1983 and 1985 and most tracks mixed November 1990 at Motiv Studios, L.A. <br /> A very different version of "They Said Tomorrow" appears on the "Scream" Compilation LP, and the other five songs have never before been released in any form whatsoever.</div> </span></div>
