Notes: Initially made for a video art exchange tour between Japan (Scan Gallery) and Australia (George Paton Gallery), "ADS" has since been purchased by the Visual Arts Board for its video catalogue and has been screened as part of the Sydney Theatre Company's production of "PERFORMANCE 2 - 'MAGAZINE'". Philip : synths & drum programming. 4 track recording. "ADS": 3/4"/colour/sound/17 min/Sept.82 The first version of "I YOU WE" was made on Super 8 for "Art In The Age Of Mechanical Reproduction" at the George Paton Gallery in July 82, and was then remade in its current format for "Pirates & Mutineers" at Roslyn Oxley Gallery 9 in May 83. "I YOU WE": 3/4"/colour/sound/7 min/May 83 "POP ART" was recorded for one side of a limited give-away single at a special night at the Crystal Ballroom in Dec. 79. Anthe - synthesizer; Leigh - guitars; Philip - drums & bass synth; Ralph - saxes. Recorded with Brian at Latrobe Studios Nov. 79. The Sydney Theatre Company production of "PERFORMANCE 2 - 'MAGAZINE'" (conceived by Ralph Kerle, Tim Gooding & Philip Brophy) occurred for one night only in March 83. The commissioned soundtrack was half original compositions and part cover versions. (Some cover versions included here do not contain the vocals which were provided live by John Swan in 'What's New Pussycat?', Ross Wilson in 'Caravan' and Martin Plaza in 'Ruby').
