A sanctuary for lo-fi tape manipulation and analog synthesis, the label’s output spanned 71 releases over nearly two decades, predominantly in cassette format—each a fractal of auditory investigation. Summers’ work, such as "Tackys Lithe Leaden Dinghy" (1997) and the esoteric "50 per cent Tape Hiss" (1996), unfolded in layers of dissonant textures and field recordings, a dialogue between artist and medium.
