About
TW (Trespassers W) is a Dutch underground record label based in The Hague, active during the late 1980s and early 1990s. The label emerged from the experimental and industrial music scene, focusing on cassette releases as its primary format—a choice reflective of the DIY ethos prevalent in European underground music communities of that era. TW's artist roster included experimental and post-industrial acts, with releases such as "The Ghost Of The Jivaro Warrior" (1987) and "Radio Mondain Den Haag De Sessies #1" (1991) demonstrating the label's commitment to avant-garde and boundary-pushing material. The label also documented the K-Sept project across multiple releases, including fan compilations spanning 1984-1993. Though operating with limited output—only four known releases in archival records—TW represents an important node within the underground experimental music network of the Netherlands, capturing a moment when cassette-based independent releases served as vital distribution channels for artists working outside mainstream commercial structures.
