Active from 1981 to 1984, the label was a sculptor of soundscapes, a master of the cassette format, releasing 26 tapes alongside 2 editions of its cassette magazine, Band-It. Each release was an artifact of the underground, a testament to the process-driven ethos that defined Kassetto Fix's brief but impactful existence. The label's catalog is a mosaic of interdisciplinary voices. Wotan Watuszi, with two releases, and Die Kastrierten Philosophen’s "Decadent Toys" carved out spaces for introspection and transgression. Schatten Unter Eis offered a haunting narrative in "Twilight Of The City", while the Band-It series, including the notable "Band-It 15", served as an auditory magazine, capturing the zeitgeist of an era that thrived on the fringes.
