There is no such thing as the first pressing of Pagan Muzak. There are several firsts, and the collector market has quietly agreed to forget that.
The locked grooves were cut differently across runs. I have three copies here. None of them agree.
We want the first pressing because we want to stand closest to the moment. But the moment, in this case, was deliberately un-fixed.
