Thick Slimy Whisper was an experimental noise project active in the mid-1980s underground music scene. The project released two cassettes through Sound of Pig Music in 1987: a live recording from Fashion Moda and the studio work Easy Listening For Afternoon Tea. Their output exemplifies the lo-fi aesthetic and avant-garde sensibilities characteristic of the cassette-based experimental music underground of that era.
