The project operated primarily within the cassette format, releasing seven out of nine total works on tape — a nod to the era's underground ethos. With releases like "Radiorgasm" on Schimpfluch and "My Life's A Gunshot - Retrospective 1989-2009 Vol.1&2" on Hrönir, Sudden Infant captured the raw, dystopian energy of their time. Their soundscapes are harsh, dissonant, and relentlessly mechanical, employing tape manipulation and found sound to create an unsettling sonic environment. Often associated with labels such as Soja-Sauce Bolognese and RRRecords, the project's output is a testament to the industrial genre's less polished, more visceral edge.
