Reportaz is a Polish experimental and industrial music project active during the 1980s. Operating primarily through cassette releases on independent labels including A.R.S. and ADN TAPES, the project emerged during a particularly fertile period for Eastern European underground electronic music. Their discography, spanning from 1983 to 1987, includes works such as Witraz (Stained Glass), Domator (Stay At Home), and the dual releases Muzika and Muzyka, all issued in limited cassette editions. The project's output reflects the aesthetic concerns of 1980s experimental music, incorporating elements of industrial sound design, noise, and avant-garde composition. Working within the constraints and DIY ethos of the cassette underground, Reportaz contributed to Poland's underground electronic music scene during the Cold War era. Their releases remain largely understudied artifacts of Eastern European experimental music history, representing the resourcefulness and creative output of underground musicians operating outside mainstream commercial channels.
