No Mustache Under His Nose
No Mustache Under His Nose, an enigmatic power electronics artist from 1985-1989, crafted abrasive soundscapes on cassette with raw tape manipulation.
About
No Mustache Under His Nose. A name as cryptic as the noise it produced. From 1985 to 1989, this project unleashed a barrage of abrasive power electronics, all on cassette, all under ZH27's enigmatic banner. "Call Valve Blatz Macho" (1985) set the tone — unfiltered rawness, tape manipulation twisting soundscapes into hostile environments. Each release drilled deeper into the psyche, with "Denialiar" and "Finullify" (1988) pushing boundaries of distorted vocals and abstract narratives. By "Sliplummet" in 1989, the experimentation reached its apex, a final act of extreme sound before fading into obscurity. No Mustache Under His Nose never chased the mainstream, instead choosing the path of unrelenting sonic evolution. Every tape, a testament to the project's visceral ethos — harsh, unyielding, and forever etched into the underground.
