Hans Reichel is a German experimental musician and guitarist known for pioneering work in free improvisation and avant-garde music. Active from the 1970s onward, Reichel explored unconventional guitar techniques and sonic experimentation. His releases on the respected Free Music Production label, including Bonobo (1976) and The Death Of The Rare Bird Ymir (1979), demonstrate his commitment to boundary-pushing instrumental improvisation and abstract soundscapes within the European experimental music underground.
