Flank was an experimental noise and industrial project active in the early 1980s. The project released two cassette works: "same" (1982) on Ding Dong Records and Tapes, and "Combat Conditions" (1983) on ExtremMist-Cassetten. Operating within the underground tape culture of early 1980s Europe, Flank contributed to the emerging industrial and noise music scenes through limited-edition cassette releases that exemplified the DIY ethos and raw sonic experimentation characteristic of the era.
