Danny and the Dressmakers were an obscure experimental/noise project active in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The project released two cassettes through underground labels Weird Noise Tapes and Fuck Off Records: 39 Golden Grates in 1979 and Go Mental in 1980. Operating within the post-punk and early industrial underground scenes, their work exemplified the DIY ethos and raw aesthetic of cassette culture during this formative period for experimental music.
