Click Click emerged from the UK in the early '80s, weaving old school EBM with post-punk shadows. Adrian Smith's project operated in the mechanical heart of industrial soundscapes, where pulsating rhythms and haunting melodies converged. Their early work, "Demo Winter 1982," captured on tape through Lung Function Records, marked the beginning of their relentless journey. By 1987, "Wet Skin And Curious Eye" on LD Records showcased their experimental production, a functional blend of industrial and electronic textures. The release of "Rorschach Testing" in 1988 on Play It Again Sam Records further solidified their presence. This LP was a testament to their evolving sonic architecture, a metronomic exploration of dystopian themes. Their collaborations with contemporaries like The Klinik and Attrition positioned them as a significant force within the scene. Click Click's output, spanning LPs and cassettes, remained a testament to their commitment to pushing the mechanical boundaries of their genre, resonating with those who listened for the sound of the machine.
