The project released a series of cassette recordings through the independent Brains for Breakfast label between 1986 and 1988, establishing themselves within the underground tape culture and industrial music scenes of that era. Their discography includes The Sound of Success (1986), London Fog FX/Rubicon/Eyeball (1987), Retro (1988), and Music From Another Dimension (1988). Cancel's work exemplifies the DIY aesthetic and experimental approach characteristic of 1980s cassette-based industrial and noise music, utilizing unconventional sound design and abstract compositional approaches.
