About
Arno Arts danced on the liminal edge between sound and vision, an artist whose work in Germany from 1962 to 1980 sculpted narratives that defy linear constraints. With only two releases archived — the 1980 cassette "Every picture tells a story" and the magazine "Kleurpotloodtekeningen" — Arts seamlessly wove tape manipulation with visual art. His process-driven approach at APROPOS Art Space and Project Room Luzern created site-specific soundscapes that transcended the auditory, engaging listeners and viewers in an interdisciplinary dialogue. Each project, a fractal narrative, invited audiences to explore textual landscapes where the boundaries between sound, text, and image dissolved.
